The magic show

 Last week on the 25th of June on Friday we had Vas Kovaslski come to our school to perform for us and the theme  was a magic show. At the start of the show he introduced us to his magic and himself and explained what he was going to do for us, also he is a professional Magician for about . He did magic and also kept us educated about keeping our diet balanced. He had a big plate of all the food that was written on the plate, there was proteins, grains, Vegetables and lastly fruits. Pulling out different kinds of food and putting them in the right order on the plate

He did his first magic and it was really impressive that everyone that was watching was entertained, what he did was he grabbed a cloth and put it inside his hand but still showing that the cloth was inside his hand, showing everyone that nothing was in his but a cloth. Giving it a second of pause, pulling out the cloth and somehow turning into a bird, he had pulled everyone's attention that they gave him the sign that they wanted more because he really got everyone's attention and all eyes were on him.

Each time when he does a magic he pause for a minute to tell the audience why you should not eat Junk food everyday and how you should eat healthy because its good for your body and can fight off the bacteria that's spreading around your body.

Task description:

This is a task about Kiwi kids news, I found an article about the tornado that happened around Papatoetoe in New Zealand. also it gave me some questions for me to answer it on the slides.

This is what I wrote on why people have it hard to read out their own speech, and it also tells how others can read it out without a problem.

Now I had to explain what happen throughout Kid President's speech. He gives out speeches about the world and how they try and escape bad things.

Fiafia Night

 Fiafia:

This is a reflection about the Fiafia on how we reflect on it. I am in the Tongan girls group.The start of the night was full on packed with a lot of people, and heaps of cars that were packed. The Fiafia began by Mr Burt introducing himself and explaining what was going to happen, and first up was the kapa haka group, some students had their solo and they sounded amazing. Each group got up to perform and I could tell that they were nervous because there were a lot of people watching them and others were screaming their names. It was now our turn and all of us girls were scared, we were all nervous and excited for us to perform in front of everyone. We were after the Myanmar group and they performed really well. After they were done we were up next, once we got up on stage everyone screamed out loud cheering for us, our dance began and we put energy on our dance and smiled, I looked all the way at the back to see if my family was there but I couldn’t see. The Fiafia was coming to an end and now Mr Burt sent us off with a prayer and we went back to our changing rooms to get change or to grab our stuff to head back home. This year was my last Fiafia and I am now off to college. Experiencing this was amazing and cool. I hope that they will do more of these in the future.

Ducks in space

Task description:

This is half of the work that I have done and this task is about the comet that is shaped as a duck and also known as a duck called space duck. On a few slides there won't be any questions that is answered.

Blood Moon

 

Today we wrote some of the facts about the blood moon, if you are wondering how does a blood moon happens it takes place when the moon is directly opposite of the sun and when the moon moves by the deepest bit of the earth's shadow and it turns into a red glow. Also the information that I wrote on the google drawing most of the information I wrote about was from kids kiwi news.

I had to list 5 facts about the story book that I read and it was called Star gazing by Maria Samuel, we had to write on what we know about the book.Then next we had to write down the 5 boxes of the facts of the story. Main character of the story is Stella who wants to get some time alone because she lives with a lot of family members, along with that the Nan is also part of the story she takes place in explaining Stella about the stars and before when her ancestors knew which one to trust. But there was one star who was really jealous.  

Immersion assembly (Watch This Space)

Task description:

This is a poster about what happen on assembly,  they explain some of the topic that we are going to learn, and the topic was watch this space and it was all about learning about the solar system. My Favorite show/movie was the team 5 because of their acting, singing and beat-boxing and also can't forget how they entertained the students who were the audience, the reason why we continue with these kind of assemblies because the Students will be kept entertained also they will continue on learning more by then they will already know things about the solar system.

The dragon's eye lake.

but this is the full story: it was about a dragon who protected a land named Rogoznica for the fees once a year they would give him a bride and he would marry them but all the brides that the dragon marries dies, he might have blew fire on them or killed them. next year it was time to pick the bride to marry the dragon then along came Pegasus he fell in love with the women that was going to marry dragon's but Pegasus said what he was going to do? so he grabbed a spear and chucked it to the dragon's chest and the dragon did nothing but scratch his own eyes and it landed far and you can see the lake in my post thats is his eye.
